Covid's the least of his worries now with Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer and Adam Jeffries all advising him to step down.  "Dignity intact" Erm, about three or four years late for that!

Can't see it being an excuse. It's not like a covid infection would last for the next six years or change much if it did. Besides I doubt if face nappy wearing would result in more gaffs, may even hide some.

I think his very closest advisors have been searching for a way to end his candidacy in a dignified and believable manner, whether it is true or not.   I am sure they have considered a minor stroke, onset of epilepsy and so on.  I guess they have found a scenario that fits the bill.  But to work Joe has to stop insisting he is carrying on.
