apology accepted don. But I stick to my suggestion that these things have got to be kept in proportion. If punishments for rape are more severe than those for murder, for instance, then rapists will feel they'd be better off killing their victims - not the sort of message to give out. Victorians genuinely believed rape was 'the fate worse than death', but I don't. I think murder is worse than paedophilia, so the punishment for it should be harsher.

I think the pair of these monsters should be thrown in a pit, doused in petrol, set alight and forgotton about and before anybody asks yes I would be more than happy to chuck in the match and I would not lose one wink of sleep about it. They should be treated like the vermin they are and disposed of. If I had a wasps nest or rats in my garden then I would have them exterminated and not give it a second thought and I fail to see the difference between these two and any other sort of infestation. As far as I am concerned these "people" gave up their rights to be treated as human beings when they committed their abhorrent crime. They deserve to die screaming in agony and I can honestly say that if I was the mother of that poor baby I would be waiting for Tanya French in five years time and the other b*****d if he is ever released. I hope the pair of them never know another moments peace for the rest of their miserable lives.

gedk i totally agree with you ..but if i said it some people would criticise me for being to harsh..12 years is not a sentance its a laugh!! they wont be punished they will be sitting around being fed and educated by the tax payer..then freed to reoffend..the baby may have internal injurys for life ! its sick..

Come on, we're talking about a 12 week old baby. the best place to put them is Holloway prison, I'm sure the women there will know what to do.

I just hope that some of the "more decent" (if you take my meaning) inmates in the prison they go to take every opportunity to make their lives a absolute misery for the entire time they are there.

Its so disgusting and unthinkable it makes me want to ask "can anyone thing of a minor crime i can get done for so that i can go to the same place as her and make her wish she'd never been born?!"

i hope they don't try or censor this information in the prisons, though i'm sure they will. i hope it leaks out somehow.

I advise anyone going on a prison visit to tell their loved as much as possible.

There can only be one answer ( if we can't execute them) and that is to lock the scum up ,until they die. End of story, they cannot go any where other innocents if they are rotting in a jail. Gedk, I totally agree with you, death is too good for them; and if it were my little girl, then I would be very happy to kill them when they get out, and would happily do a long stretch for doing so.
