Not sure about protests bringing them down but I can see at least a few of the present cabinet not being in their jobs for too long.

No - but it might make them realise they haven't got a free ride despite their overwhelming Commons majority & they need to get moving very soon with effective measures to allay public concerns.

Even though it's early days it is already apparent this Government are not fit for purpose (although you only have to look at SKS and his cabinet to know this was always going to be the case - who in their right mind would think Rayner and Lammy are worthy of their positions?), but the current issues will not bring down the Government.

Nah, we need 5 years of pain to reinforce in the minds of the voting public what a Labour government is.

Elon Musk pointed out that when the PM promised protection to Muslims and Mosques, he should also provide protection for the citizens of the UK.

David small, I think that's his biggest mistake.  He's talking about raising 'armies' - but genuine protestors are likely to perceive that to be armies against them.  He's alienating the indigenous people.

Two Tier Kier, Robber Reeves and the rest of them hate the indigenous people Naomi.

Particularly the working classes.

What a patriot Keir is turning out to be.

There is a tide in the affairs of men
Which, taken at the flood, leads on to fortune;
Omitted, all the voyage of their life
Is bound in shallows and in miseries.
On such a full sea are we now afloat;
And we must take the current when it serves,
Or lose our ventures.

Stephen Waxy-Lemon must be rueing the day he booked his holiday in Cyprus.

  I said in another post if he'd returned to Dover and led a march on London he could have made great changes in our society. But he's missed the boat and will probably spend the rest of his days thinking of what might have been.

Keir Starmer may rue the day he and his cohorts of patriots voted against every single attempt by the Tories to control illegal immigration.

sandy - you really do spout some rubbish. And "waxy-lemon" is wearing thin, give it a rest.

But did Labour's anti-Tory pro-immigration stance really stop the Tories driving through any effective legislation? I'm not sure.

sandyRoe, like SKS you miss the point wildly, perhaps deliberately as you dont want to admit the truth?

You are aware that the undercurrent here goes far deeper then TR, he is just using the issue, if SKS had anything about him he would seize and own the problem of illegal immigration, fix it and then could see himself in power for a decade.

But the was SKS is going he will be lucky to see the end of the week, bet the GOAS and Unions are rubbing their hands in glee and ready to punce.

Where's Gulliver when you need someone to bring some 'balance' to the debate?

I guess that should Charles decide the situation has got out of control because of parliament he might (no I don't actually know) have the right to ask another MP to head a government. Were that so parliament might agree the best way forward was to disband and hold a new General Election.

Maybe he could choose Nige next time 😉

SKS and his followers will see out the five alloted years. Then they will lose for another fifteen years or so because that is how it works.  They promise the earth and renege almost immediately - winter fuel?? Back to the wilderness in 2029.

btw Robber Reeves will not make the duration.

Some of you really need to get over losing the GE and stop looking for pathetic excuses to blame SK for the present situation and the rubbish the cons left behind.

Surely you can't deny the actions and stated aims of the new government have clearly made things worse. Just about everything they come up with seems designed to achieve that.

In your dreams maybe OG.

It would be in my nightmares, but it seems to occur during the day, unfortunately.
