Now here we have a labout govt taking about a "standing army" an ex DPP no less
and is there anyone here that did History O level ? ( cries of foo what dat etc) - bill of rights 1689 ( foo what dat etc) and no standing army....( agreement in the Bill that there shall be no standing army)
so that is why boys and girls - we have an annual Army Act ( cries of do we? where den?) as we dont have a standing army
hence my puzzlement... at Starmers phrase - I mean god he really should know...
( cries of delete him! complete him! excrete him! etc - and songs of 'we're all going to Liveeer pool! for a riot of two!)
