The Daily Express don't have a clue what will be in Reeves budget.
Classic scaremongering.

Have you read it Gromit. The gap is already widening, regardless of whether she does not anything in the Autumn budget. She may or may not further cut private pension benefits and tax pension pots more, but she won't touch public sector pensions, which are already beeing boosted by the recent public sector pay awards

It's still not clear to me why there are "old" & "new" rates for the OAP. I appreciate that newer retirers are having to work a year or two longer but the discrepancy seems disproportionate.

yep there is no doubt this is real Labour. The public sector produces nothing it is an expense paid for by the private sector. Yet it's beloved of the socialists. The private sector pensions must look like a very attractive piece of juicy fruit to be plucked. It won't make a lot of difference to me, it's the poor hard working saps that voted Labour I feel sorry for. Still they'll all be Tory by the next election.

It would all still be Tory now but for the abject failings of Conservative men and women across the land, let's not forget that wee nugget.

This government is already well on the way to discouraging people to take responsibility for themselves.  If we all give up and claim benefits, none of us will have a problem.  Everything will be paid for in our old age.  Just one snag - who's going to pay for it?
