You consider him innocent if you like, sandy.

^^ ignore, please - the last leters of a longish, cogent post before a flying finger hit something which it shouldn't have       done.

Basically - it will take time and disillusionment  by the new intake of Labour MPs (may with small majorities). Once they settle and feel power they may apply pressure.

Otherwise ---- collapse of economy by businesses 'giving up', followed by mass demonstrations, possible general strike by those made redundant etc., etc., etc..

Best I can do.  I am wistfully remembering Guy Fawkes, but I don't think his pile of dynamite would do the job today.  :(

The Labour Party were elected to govern for  5 years. If people dont like that than tough

Wasn't Brexit achieved by the votes of about a quarter of those eligible to vote?

Labour are in office, however small their share of the vote.

That's democracy.

"Wasn't Brexit achieved by the votes of about a quarter of those eligible to vote?"

52% of those that voted 38% of those elligible to vote.

//Labour are in office, however small their share of the vote. That's democracy.//

I repeat - a deeply flawed form of democracy!🙄

at least the USA President will have gained somewhere approaching half the votes cast

Spouting figures is futile.  A complete waste of time.  Labour is legitimately in government and are very rapidly proving to be unfit for office.  The question is how to get rid of them - and that will only be possible if more - a lot more - of their own rebel.  Seems we're stuck with it.

It's not just me, it's the law of the land.

"at least the USA President will have gained somewhere approaching half the votes cast" - not necessarily, it is theoretically it can be won with only 23%

You're not going to tell me what the news is then?

Sorry but I never trusted Kier Starmer ages ago.

All he used to do was find fault with the Tories.

Would someone care to tell me what CLONE is on about?

^ Isn't that the role of the leader of the opposition?

It's not just me, it's the law of the land.

There's no law that says I have to consider him innocent until proven guilty.

Clone

In the great scheme of things your opinions, and mine, are of little consequence.

But the accused iinnocent until proven guilty.

It isn't going to happen is it. Suck it up and wait until the next scheduled GE.

//Would someone care to tell me what CLONE is on about?//

Conspiracy theorists always keep it vague.

If they spell it  out in plain language the theory is always revealed to be as chuffing stupid as it actually is.

Your acting dumb charade is very convincing, TCL.
