Hospital Waiting Lists Down
Good news it appears. No link I'm afraid, I heard this on BBC news this morning, the lowest its ever been. Could this be due to labour settling the strikes, either way very good news.

14.44 TTT. Privatisation? The NHS as not become private. Its just another bill that comes into the NHS to be paid like thousands of other bills that come every week for servies rendered. Hence these bills will be for opps. Hope this helps you get your head round the obvious confusion you seem to have.
For the avidance of doubt though, I welcome actions that lead to genuine reductions and improve the overall health service. There may be a cost of course- maybe this is where much of the boost announced in the budget will be spent. Maybe we should judge all aspects - waiting lists and other outcomes, and cost- in a year or two
“No matter how much people abuse their own bodies the NHS is expected to cope. Its not about reforming the NHS time and time again, its about educating people.”
I don’t smoke, I don’t drink to excess, I’m not overweight. But any interaction I’ve had with the NHS has shown me that it’s a complete shambles.
As well as that, no matter how long people have been in the UK or where they are from, the NHS is expected to cope with them as well, with treatment being free (to them, anyway).
“I beliveve you experienced a drunk sicking all over your seat the last time you attended hospital, did you not?”
I did. But that doesn’t explain why I was expected to assist in checking myself out and back in again because I’d been there for four hours, especially when that farce began before the drunk arrived.
The problems you highlight are a concern and they certainly add to the problems the NHS faces. But they are not the cause of them. It’s certainly not the fault of the staff in the front line. They do their best despite the valiant efforts of their managers and directors to make that difficult for them. The cause is the organisation itself and its funding model.
