In addition to the Victory, depending on naval movements there are frequently several ships in commission at any one time in Portsmouth (including the two new aircraft carriers HMS Prince of Wales and HMS Queen Elizabeth for example). The Historic Dockyard run daily harbour tours which usually includes close-up views of all the current warships in port. Then of course there are various cross-channel and IOW ferries etc..........
TBF I would not have picked that as a TWAU as it's quite possible that is one of those answers that doesn't seem right but is. A bit like balsa is in fact a hard wood for example. I knew it was Victory but The Marie Rose could have never been decommisiioned and be more of an admin anomolly so I'd have let her off that!
Apologies bhg481, you are quite correct.
I also overlooked HMS Warrior, also based in Portsmouth (and unlike HMS Victory still floating at anchor/mooring). But I can be excused because this one was decommissioned in 1883.
I might add that I have visited all three several times, especially the Mary Rose which I followed through its lengthy restoration.
