Hamas,Israel and Palestine

It looks now, like Hamas is going to form the next goverment of Palestine, they have said that talks with Israel are not ruled out, I certainly hope thats the road they'll go down, but if they keep on their mandate 'the destruction of Israel', I can't see peace in the Middle East ever happening. I wondered what your thought on this are.

Although Hamas say they want the destruction of the Jewish state, in reality they also know they dont have the means to do it, if anthing if Israel wasnt so concerned about overseas opinion they would and could quite easily wipe out Hamas senior people, and just leave it with a few fanatics running around like headless chickens trying to organise themselves. As Hamas well know when it comes to targeted assassinations, Israel are pretty good. They also , i would imagine remember how the Israelis could have picked of Arrafat but instead just destroyed his compound bit by bit leaving the man himself untouched.

Class act in my opinion, and a lesson that i am sure will not have gone unnoticed out there
