Thanks for your last remark - it is affecting everyone not just today but every anniversary but it is very low key at the wishes of the people.Just quiet thoughts of how they would have been.
Thanks Drisgirl & Geo,
I have really enjoyed the banter with you two fine Scottish folk, William Wallace would be proud of you both, felt I was under a bit of a bombardment at times, even the rugby team let me down, Never mind I do actually love your Country and used to come up to Dunoon when I managed an under 14s football team from mid wales, we played in the cowal tournament,
I have always found Scots to be warm & generous people, thanks again and just so I can get the Last word. COME ON ENGLAND (world cup winners 2006)
I might regret that ! cheers both Ray
I do know that Ireland is a complex issue noxlumos. Just to be pedantic, if in one part of Ireland people overwhelmingly vote to remain British, there is no way the whole island of Ireland could vote unanimously against being British. You don't hear the jury foreman saying "yes it was a unanimous decision, only two people disagreed". All I was saying is that whilst Northern Ireland wants to remain British, there is no way it will cede from the United Kingdom
