Am I alone in finding it hilarious that JP was the biggest Tory baiter over their sleaze, and indeed went on to say that Tories feel morals are all about not getting caught and then brilliantly shows that he is morally bankrupt???

This man is truly odious and therefore I am enjoying every minute of this!!!

People seem to be satisfied that it should be left private and earbashing from Mrs is as far as his punishment goes. He was having sex in his office. He was meant to be clearing his papers, signing reports, looking at yours and mine welfare. You think his mind was on his work. He says that she is lying but like a true politician wont say which parts are lies. He is a bully and if he can get it in the office, bet you he would try his best. He would not wait till the evening for a romantic tryst in his grace and favour flat. There is no job where if you get caught doing it in the office, you wont lose your job. You and I would, so why not a minister. Besides he was a serial groper.

I don't remember Prescott ever holding himself up as a roll model like that.

He just had the strange idea that Tories should live up to the values they espoused.

Affairs between men and their secretaries are not uncommon; I'm most surprised to hear that DT would be sacked for it... or is that only if he had a grace and favour apartment to do it in? Anyway, I don't know how this compares with Cameron saying the world should go green while his chauffeur carries his spare shoes round in a Lexus - they guy's looking like a ninny before he's even in power, so anyone who votes for him can't say they don't know what they're getting.
