A lot of newspapers have regional variances - eg the Sun has around half a dozen editions. the majority of the paper is the same, but a few pages here and there (mainly with adverts on) have regional 'slips'
a slip edition is one where a minimum of new pages are slipped in while others remain unchanged. I don't know about nay.
You live next door to Mr Nay or Mrs Slip and the newsagents have delivered them to the wrong house?
