So who killed the electric car?
I am planning on seeing the documentary on the premature death of the electric car. Do you think car companies are kicking themselves now for not continuing the technology and would the electric car be anymore successful now that hybrids have become popular?

The saudi's are too rich for the US to abandon and go for environmental progress. Until the USA changes its mind and they get a President who is willing to use his backbone and not be dictated to by powerful lobby groups and stand up to be counted, then we havent got much of a chance for great developments in this field :-(
Who says the electric car is dead? 0 - 60 in 4 secs, top speed of 130 mph, 250 mile range, full charge in 3.5 hours. Invented in Silicon valley, styled and engineered in UK, Tesla sports car is far from dead!

Who would want an electric car? they are slow and heavy and cause more pollution than normal cars.
Where do you think the electricity comes from to power them?
At the moment It comes from power stations that are fueled by coal, gas and oil then stored in archaic inneficient lead and acid polluting batteries, what a waste!
