Demise of Britain?. or just England and Wales.
Going back a bit, for those that remember, I said this was going to happen under this goverment, and if it comes to pass, the next thing will be the extinction of the country name England.
I know its the DM, and there will be those that rubbish this story because of this, but it it happening.

As for culture, what culture, the stiff upper lip?, Fish 'n'Chips?, tiffin perhaps?, we don't even have a national dress.
Whats good about this country is its freedoms, which under this goverment, are being fast eroded.

I think there were a few more people involved than Churchill but if you want to believe it was just one man then who am I to contradict you.As for G.B.I think this is still the best country in the world to go to the Cinema ,or the Library or watch Television or go to a football match or walk down a country lane or listen to the radio or travel on a train or watch a game of cricket or have a pint of bitter or have a coastal holiday and the 100+ other little things that make (my) life such a pleasant existence.
Lonnie it is time that you began to smile and smell the roses.

cucuhhullan, I agree it was a few others besides Churchill, but if he hadn't been around, there was no-one else strong enough to stand against Halifax,
As for the other things you mention, once again, I do agree with you, but these are the freedoms I was talking about,
Smell the Roses?, yes, I possibly should, i'm possibly a little to serious, but i'm working on it.
