Yeah, the papers are terrified of causing trouble with regards Asians aren't they!
Lets see - The Sun leads today on a story of a Muslim dispute with four soldiers and The Indie, Times & Express lead on Jack Straws comments regarding the veil.
And of course, there have been no reports this week / month / year about Asians in the papers have there?

This has been all over the press - it got ectensive coverage when it happened and during the first trial. In what sense is it bing kept out of the press? At the time there was huge coverage and outrage - as there should have bee. Why do people keep trying to drag up non-exixtant evidence that people who are not white are treated more sympathetically. it just isn't true. Those who post this sort of question are as bad as racists.
I've not personally heard about this, but two things spring to mind, other people clearly have so I can't see it's being "covered up", and secondly just because it was five people of one race killing one person of another ,does not mean it was NECESSARILY racially motivated. It may well be, but it's not automatic is it?
For example, assume I thought a black guy had raped my daughter. Myself, my brother, brothers in law and sons all go out, find this bloke and kill him, despite the fact that he's black and we are white, that is NOT a racially motivated murder, so before I comment seriously, does anyone have a link please to what we are supposed to be discussing?

i live up in scotland and it was never kept quiet.the difference was, it stirred no racial hatred.maybe the climate, so many attacks with knives happen every week up here etc.the difference was, this was calculated and spine-chilling.the type of violence reserved for drugdeals gone wrong if you get my drift.you're right it never got the attention it deserved.it made me sick to my stomach when i saw the detailss of this attack, the fact it was racially motivated was more chilling.i pity this guys mother having to live with this, its horrific.
what chilledfme to the bone was the fact that five asians went looking for a 'white boy' to attack that night.they wanted revenge for a bottle attack by a 'white guy the previous week; they picked an innocent 15 year old boy off the street who was 'white' and tortured him over many hours before killing him.i have a teenager around the same age and i know what i would do to these evil b*** if i got them alone.it was a racist attack and yes it was hushed up too much i guess-it never got to bbc news.if it was the other way around it would be national news for sure.sign of the times.
