Aside from the actual sentiments in the alledged statement, is there anyone else whose first reaction is to believe the prision service bloke and not David Blunkett?

Isn't it a sad state of affairs when the automatic, first reaction is to believe that an ex-senior minister of the crown and long-serving MP is a liar?

And commentators wonder why the public isn't interested in politics. Bring on Mrs Pritchard!

Blunkett certainly cant be believed, look at the fiasco re his mistressand passports etc etc, not forgetting the fact hes a politician, when do they ever tell the truth ?
