Cash for Honours
Lord Goldsmith has been nominated to see if anyone should be charged in the current scandel concerning high profile figures in both Conservative and Labour. The latest to be interviewed was Jonathon Powell the right hand man for Tony Blair. It is expected that Tony Blair will be interviewed by the police some time soon. Is Lord Goldsmith the right person to take on this role especially when he provided Tony Blair with the justification for going to war in Iraq and which many believe he was lent on to do this?

But by god he will tell CPS there is not enough evidence to prosecute and lo and behold Tony will walk away scotfree. is there any higher honour that Tony could then bestow on goldsmith. maybe the victoria cross for bravery.
Thinking about this one. I suspect it is all asham. the media build up to the PM interview under caution is all hype
perpetrated by labour and the govt. It creates a false scenario that things are being taken seriously. After the interview the CPS will say not enough evidence to prosceute. The opposition will not challenge as they are in the same boat. the people will think ..ah well at;least they did an enquiry. Dont be surprised if the policeman in charge of the investigation gets a knighthood in a discrete few years. We the public will be the losers in this game of power and cash.
