The country seems to be getting a bit more interested but he is not under any fire like our PM is.Judging from answers posted on www.answerpool.com this annoys the liberals no end but there is a hard support from those who really think 'So what?' as well as those who persist in thinking that Saddam poured the whole lot into the Euphrates (when not taking them to Syria instead of using them ) etc I think that the people are content with the one invasion pro tem but yes, given a bit of time he could do it somewhere else. Even the real fans are questioning getting involved in Liberia though; Liberia can't be shown as a threat, however you try, so the same fans are yelling 'Why us?' Where are the French ?( next door in Sierra Leone, actually, getting shot at) Where's the UN ?' instead.
I think you've hit the nail on the head with your 9/11 comment . As good old G dubbya is head of state as well as government, having a go at G dubbya is seen by a large portion of the population as having a go at the United States of America, therefore is un-patriotic. His popularity is falling in the polls which could indicate a growing unease about his aggressive polices. Anyway I'm glad to live in a country that the Heads of State & government are separate, even though one is a tax-dodging inbred kraut & the other a sycophantic control freak.
