Alcohol - because it's easy to get. Most people are given it by their parents.

The Scottish Parliament is reviewing the licensing laws in Scotland over six months. There are concerns that one in three men in Scotland is a heavy drinker compared to one in four in England. Frank Gerstenberg, principal of George Watson's College in Edinburgh, said drink was a greater long-term threat to pupils than experimenting with cannabis. He claims that the majority of teenagers who experiment with cannabis don't take it in the long term, but drinking alcohol causes long-term problems.
