In last night's edition of CBB, Shilpa was seen reversing her previous claim that she was the victim of racism, and Jade was seen vigorously denying that she herself was/is a racist. Just in time to help to defuse what looked like becoming an international disaster. But do you think those girls made a U-turn because they're both up for eviction and therefore need votes, or because they were urged to do so by Big Brother bosses? I suspect the latter though, if I'm right, I don't suppose it'll ever be admitted to.

more and more, this is beginning to look like it has been stage-managed start to finish by endemol to raise the programme's profile in the face of disappointing ratings. and tonight they stand to gain millions from an inflated eviction vote.

It became very clear last night that Jade had been made aware of the 'racism row' well before she left the House
The issue between Jade and Shilpa is possibly a class one, as opposed to a racial one, as some people have commented. Jade is probably just jealous because Shilpa is successful, better educated and beautiful. Jade is only famous because she appeared on reality TV. If Shilpa was a plain looking Indian girl who worked at a garment factory, then she wouldn't have been treated so badly.

Likewise, if Shilpa was white, beautitul, successful stockbroker with a degree from a prestigious university, people like Jade, Jo and Danielle would have had a go at her - especially Jade who is obviously from an unstable background.
