When did that last happen whiffey? I'm aware of the times it did under the Ayatollah's, but Iran isn't what it once was. Just like we don't kill witches and have slavery. You can't tar a people because of it's past. If you look at the amnesty web site you will see China near the top of the list of human rights atrocities. But we aren't going to nuke them. They don't have oil and will nuke us back, to the stone age. We just seem to pick on the small kids in the playground that have the most we can steal.

Thanks max, I'm far from PC though. I do have views that are controversial. But i take everybody at face value. There is good and bad in every walk of life. I hate one group being blamed over another. No group is perfect, we all have our crosses to bear. :-)

As a proud brit, I have to agree with what is being said here. I love my country and am currently going through the process of joining the RAF to try and defend it and to hopefully protect less able countries.
It is shocking that supposed 'British' people could even consider such actions against their own countrymen.

4 years ago when Iraq II (the return for Saddam) was fought, there were 'proud' Iraqis living in the UK that went to fight against the british forces. These guys were interviewed on telly but had their faces covered up. If they're sooooo proud, why do that? So they could come back and live their hypocritical existence again is why. What should have happened was the home office revoke their UK status and tell them to stay there.

So sarnieken, why do you feel the need to fight a war that is unjust and illegal? What are the reasons for the US and UK for being in Iraq? Study the UN resolutions and tell me what war you are going to fight? I wish you'd look further into it and not sacrafice yourself for a fight for oil and political land. I LOVE MY COUNTRY, thats why i fight for it's name in this world. We are being dragged into a war we will never win. I just hope you have a positive outcome from your time in Iraq.
