Okay, I know its the Daily Mail, but this is a question that must be in everyones head, and it worries me, bacause if it happens, and I think it will in my lifetime, it'll be Sharia Law we'll be under.

stokeace - I really would reread your posts and then try and understand the difference between:

immigrants

Illegal Immigrants.

Asylum seekers.

At the moment you seem to think that they are all the same - and there are vast differences.

If you don't think that they are the same, then I really would check the wording you are using as you can be very insulting to immigrants.

{And if it helps, I do feel that illegal immigrants should be sent back to their country of origin. }

oneyevic im well aware of the diffrence between immigrants which arrive in this country.dont failed asylum seekers turn into illegal immigrants?there are half a million illegal immigrants in this country and there is a march in london today for some reason or another today concerning them.i dont know the details just yet but i would be interested to find out what its all about.they are probably protesting about something or another.

no oneyevic ILLEGAL immigrants do not have ni numbers or indeed genuine passports so they do not pay into the system.how many times have premises been raided ie restraunts,warehouses kebab shops and illegal workers have been arrested how are these paying tax and ni contributions?.thats the diffrence between immigrants who are allowed to stay here and ILLEGALS who are not and its the ones that are not supposed to be here that everyone objects to because they are the ones who resort to a life of crime.ie driving whilst they are not qualified to do so and in my area the raping of a local woman.no wonder people are fed up of the immigration issue.

This is the problem when discussing immigration - people seem to think that both illegal and legal immigrants are the same and try and muddy the issues.

But this is the exact distinction which so many people get wrong - there is a huge difference between an immigrant and an illegal immigrant.

As this is an online debate, all that is visible is the words in front of us - so one has to assume you mean just what you've typed.

If you'd prefer we didn't 'split hairs' then simply putting more thought into your posts will eliminate any possibility of confusion...

There are too many foriegners over here, poles,turks,kurds,somalians,romanians,bulgarians to name but a few

The poles are undercutting all the brickies and chippies by working for �40 a day, the labourers work for �20 a day, cash in hand of course
The turks are opening 24/7 "convenience" stores and take-aways all over the place
The rest of them bring nothing to this country, the schools are overcrowded with kids unable to speak English which holds back our kids education

Nothing will ever be done about it, the cities in this country are sh!tholes because of it...rant over

I shall now leave my nice quiet village in the countryside and head off into work passing through the above mentioned sh!tholes wondering where it all went wrong

my son went to a school full of immigrants, Elvis. He's since acquired a master's degree in English, so it doesn't seem to have damaged his education too much. Research seems to suggest that what holds kids' education back is parental apathy; so maybe the real problem is with the white, native-born English themselves: too idle to study, too lazy to run corner shops, and all too ready to do bad work and overcharge for it ('rip-off Britain', as the country is known). Give me a Polish plumber any day.

This year I've had the computer fixed by a Bulgarian and the garden fence by an Irishman; both were efficient, arrived on time, did the job - successfully - as and when they said they would, and charged what they said they would. I did try to get quotes from Englishmen, but they never turned up. More immigrants, please! The English have forgotten how to work.

Vic, You're reading what you want to read. 40% of young muslims want Sharia law now, and that's a pretty high proportion. No point quoting over the 55s - the young are the future and it's the future we talking about. How many more young people will follow the 40% and what will they teach their children?

What's your point in quoting my previous posts? You seem to be equating my views on reinstating the death penalty for child rapists and child murders with Sharia law - a pretty ridiculous comparison. Sharia law means a lot more than the death penalty.
