Seeing numerous report about the net closing in on Osama Bin-Liner, who would like to bet that his arrest/capture/demise will be timed to coincide with the best possible time to boost G Dubya's re-election bid.

You appear to have created a self-fulfilling prophecy here, Baz. Since the end of Osama bin Laden will inevitably boost President Bush's re-election campaign, then - whenever that happens - you'll be able to say: "See! I told you so!"
unless it happens after november, of course.
I think the point being made is that the capture of Bin-Laden is being deliberately and artificially delayed to serve a political end, which is entirely feasible know the methods of this president and his cronies in the actions they took to gain office. It's equally possible that he will never be caught but it makes you wonder how good US intelligence is if they can't track down a dialysis reliant man when they had half his relatives the day after the terrorist attacks.....perhaps they won't ever catch him so as not to displease the Saudi Arabian nation which would cripple the US economy if it withdrew the money invested in America.
I took the November deadline to be a sine qua non, I, given that Bush cannot seek a further re-election after that time.
you are rather assuming that the bushbaby can count to two
There's no doubt that the capture of Bin Laden would be a huge political weapon for Bush to use in Re-election, however prolongging the process doesn't really serve any great purpose and in fact in my opinion would only highlight the political leverage aspect of it more so.
I believe the counting of terms served is not left to the actual President himself, I. Were it so, I suspect we might still have Reagan in the White House!
I personally fear the consequences from the capture of Bin Laden- there will be so much backlash from the Muslim world- I think it will cause more problems than it will solve. I feel safer that Bin Liner is keeping his head down.
