Wouldn't call Blair or Bush coach potatoes. Both of them claim to be Christians. Didn't Blair say he prayed for assistance in order for him to come to what he considered was the right decision re invasion of Iraq. Despite reasoned calm and passionate arguments to the contrary, B and B held on to their barmy beliefs of WMD. (Unless you belief that was all a front and it was control of the oil we wanted all along, but had to come up with an excuse)

At least suicide bombers put their own lives on the line when killing others; they don't send others in to do it for them. If you are dead because you were blown up on a tube train, or dead because your country was invaded, you are dead and your relatives are going to mourn for as long as they are alive.

I don�t think the actions of the terriorists are justified, two wrongs etc . But I don�t see that that the minority of Muslims are representative of the majority, in the same personal way that I don�t think Blair over Iraq represents my view.

Oh God, that was hilarious. I went to see (or rather got dragged to sit through) the Jerry Springer Opera when it toured to where I live. There were people outside giving out flyers stating the city would be smited by God for it's showing of the Opera.

I still have the flyer - I read through it for a laugh sometimes. Too bad that's the only moderately entertaining experience I had that evening...
