the UK does not condone the death penalty.
The death penalty for murder was removed in 1965

How much will it cost to keep him in prison for 35 years?

It's proved beyond a reasonable doubt that he did it, so what is the point of keeping him alive??

Interesting to see he was addicted to cocaine, which can cause psychotic conditions. Some in previous posts have argued should be left to the individuals' choice whether or not to take this drug.

He'll wish he had been hanged when he gets locked up with men who regard child crime as the worst thing on the book. (pictures are hung, people are hanged!)

This guy will have a TERRIBLE time in prison i'm glad to say.

He will probably ask for solitary for his own good.

If he does mix with other prisoners he will suddenly find boiling hot water in his face or a knife in his back.

I agree with reverand, there is no doubt that he is guilty, what use would it serve to keep him alive, although i think i would keep him in prison, but by no means in seclusion and see for the next 35 years what pain and torment he can endure when you let the inmates at him.

It's not cocaine which causes psychosis. It's skunk (extremely strong weed).

Besides, from what I read this morning, it wasn't the drug...it was the man. He was a full on paedophile.

What this story does highlight is the gulf of difference between what we fear (the lone predatory paedophile snatching children they spot in the park) and reality; the vast, vast, vast majority of abused children know or are related to their abusers.

It's a horrible fact - but all the "Print The Names Of Paedos" ain't gonna make a jot of difference if the abuse is happening within the home...which is normally is.

How will he have a bad time in prison? Like he is going to be in the the "ordinary" prisoners.

Won't he be segregated (Section 43) and if he isn't in solitary he will be mixing with other like minded people and swopping thier own sick stories and having a whale of a time.
