after watching the highlander films i think its better to live a life of perhaps 70 or 80 years and enjoy them than to eternally spend your time roaming and finding love and happinesss only to lose it when your partner inevitably dies and you live on.

eternal life isnt the great thing its envisaged to be .

I'd like to live to about 80 as long as I still had all my faculties. If I was house bound and not able to control my bodily functions I'd hope my husband would commit euthanasia at my say so.

wouldnt want to live forever, but to about 80 or 90 would be nice! as long as if i was in ok health.
I work where i deal with elderly people and there are some 90 year olds who are active and well and id like to be liek them, then die peacfully in my slepp, very ideal world but i guess it doesn't always happen.

I would hate to live forever. It takes all the reason out of living your life to the full. You would never take opportunities because another on would always come along. As I think that life is not a dress rehearsal, I have to live it as if every moment counts. And that makes me happy.
