I cannot believe how many nasty, sadistic, smarta**e, shallow people there are out there. I do not believe that the McCanns killed their daughter either accidentally or otherwise. The only thing they have done wrong as far as I am concerned is leaving the children alone. They are not the first and they will not be the last to be lulled into a false sense of security. Someone took advantage of that. And for people to even suggest that the Mccanns deserved all they got is evil. They will never forgive themselves for that, never!Why are some people so incensed about the success of the publicity campaign they launched. Of course every child who is abducted deserves the same consideration, but the McCanns could only think of their child at that time, and If anyone said to me that they wouldn't feel that way if it happened to them, then they would be wrong.
I think it is apalling that they have been gagged by the police who seem to me have bungled this case from the very beginning. Where are all these ridiculous accusations and leaks coming from? Some of them are beyond belief. And all you horrible excuses for human beings out there are jumping on every gory detail. What if you are wrong and are adding to the McCanns pain? Whatever happened to compassion? You are like a lynch mob, If you are wrong, may God forgive you. But then the sort of people that are writing these cruel remarks cant possibly believe in God anyway. I hope Madeleine is still out there and that she will be found.

PS Why are we so soft on paedophiles? None of our children are safe as long as all these known paedophiles are allowed to roam free.

They didnt kill their daughter, The portugese police have just run out of ideas and need to clear the case. They think the parents are easy meat.
The problem is that the hunt for poor Madelaine has now been diverted and whoever has got the child must be laughing with glee that the search has stopped.

i just want to know (as a mother of a 4 yr old girl) why the hell they left the kids alone EVERY nigh instead of using the resort babysitting services of the wrld renowned family resort they were staying in and she admitted giving her daughter painkillers that night. so not only did she leave them alone, but the child was 'under the weather' aswell. i dont know if she did it but perhaps the only way we'll ever find out is in years time from the twins if they have to under go therapy.

Its the first time I have heard that she admitted giving the child painkillers that night. I think you are getting confused. Apparently there was another couple in the party whose child was not feeling well. The McCanns have already said again and again that they felt that a babysitter was unnecessary as they wrongly thought that they were in a safe, family friendly environment. They made a tragic mistake. people should be able to move on from that. Somebody took Madeleine, the police seem to have stopped looking for her and from what I have seen so far they are incompetent. I have no faith in them at all.

i do agree to a certain extent but people will never move on from the fact they left the kids alone, as if they hadn't of done maddie wouldnt have gone in the first place. i have no idea if she did it or not, but although i do symapthise to an extent all my thoughts go to that poor little girl.

If they hadn't left the apartment doors UNLOCKED then it would have been very difficult for the "abduction" to have taken place. THAT is the crux of the matter!!
