Due to global warming a positive spin off is a direct Artic route from the Atlantic to the Pacific. Canada insists the territory belongs to them, no doubt to charge shipping for access similar to the Panama or Suez Canals. Should they be allowed to charge for this waterway?

Hasn't the North West Passage been open since at least 1906 when Amundsen sailed it? Maybe they had global warming then too?
