I'm there naomi,
Good on you for putting it on, i've sent it to all my workmates and family.
I'm not a believer as such, but the saying 'There but for the grace of God' applies.
Myriad and Kathyan.
We all come from different parts of the UK, (no offence to those from abroad', but i'm sure if your part of the UK was say, devastated by an Earthquake, or worse floods than we've had recently, you'd be grateful for overseas assistance.

Sorry I would not give a single penny, not even a ha'penny (if they still existed) to assist in ANY muslim country, apart from Indonesia.
I envy your charitable mind however naomi24. I am afraid, I would favour saving one cat or dog in the UK than the entire nation of Bangledesh.
My problem, I know. But that's how it's gonna be.

Thanks Lonnie. I do understand the sentiments of people who'd rather sort our own country out first (and I agree wholeheartedly with Kathyan and her view of this government). However, I've survived various frightening situations around the world, including a Caribbean hurricane, but I seriously didn't realise just how huge and how totally devastating natural disasters of this nature are - especially to people in poor countries - until I went to Sri Lanka very shortly after the Tsunami - and that broke my heart. No television or newspaper report could possibly have conveyed the absolute devastation or the total hopelessness of the situation adequately. That's why I put this on here, and as I said, no one is obliged to give, but I do hope some do. We think we have problems, and there's no doubt we do, but these people have absolutely nothing - and I mean nothing - so anything that anyone can give will help.
Thank you Naomi for bringing this website to the attention of those who care.
I do give to those in need in this country and abroad.
When something of this magnitude devastates so many lives and wipes out so many people for no reason then how can it not affect others across the Earth, we are all human.
I give not for the ego, but from the heart.
