It scared the Bejesus out of me, I was sat in bed reading and I honestly thought the house was subsiding or something.
At least I now know I wasn't dreaming or having one of me funny turns ! About 1am here in Gorleston I heard this rattling and the bed was shaking ...only lasted a a minute or so .
I thought it was the gin ...but obviously not :))
You whimp BOO. I just told my husband "It's an earthquake" and went back to sleep! It was pretty bad where I am too.
Now, if it had been a spider, that would have been a different matter!!
lofty, how come you get the police there?? our station seems only fit for filming in lol
aww B00, it may have scared me a bit more had i been fully awake like you. But then i never got scared when my ghost shook my bed at night either
Perhaps you thought the memorabilia had made the earth move Shaneystar!!!
O lord . no ..he would sleep through WW3 . !!
Ya know my 1st thought when I realised what it was? And this is terrible bearing in mind I've a 3 yr old sleeping in another room.....

"Oh God, me fishtanks!!!"
Morning peeps. My friend who is 35 weeks pregnant with twins got up to go to the loo, her waters broke and as she made her way back to her bedroom there was an earthquake. I think she thought it was some sort of omen, and her husband was running round in a mad panic in his dressing gown - as if his wife going into labour wasn't enough! LOL
I guess she will always remember how the boys entered the world! (they're not here yet, she's still at home, hospital said to stay there until she can bare it no more!).

I, however, felt nothing, and neither did my hubby :-(
Sorry 4get I didn't answer the question - I don't think it has anything to do with global warming, although there is no denying we are not helping the earth's atmosphere, as Julie has pointed out; these kind of random "acts of God" have happened for millions of years.
OMG Natalie, as long as one of them is not named Damien!!
LOL - Nope Lofty, they will be Joshua and Thomas, when they deign to make their appearance of course. She's feeling pretty miserable right now.
pmsl. you bad, bad, bad mummy lol Did mini B00 wake at all?
lol BOO! Fishtanks indeed! ;o}
shame on you B00 :o)
I lay there listening to my dressing table rattle & thought..."Oh God my bottle of Chanel" ....lol
glad you got a better night sleep than the night before Natalie!
Hope you friends twins arrive soon and safely
No red, rofl- sh'es unreal where sleep is concerned, once she's asleep thats it- I can now honestly say that not even an eathquake will wake her up!
It shook my son out of bed so bang goes my theory that he could sleep through an earthquake too :-)
i could normally, little CRX did. But am light sleeper at mo
