I wish harry and every soldier out there the best of luck. I saw the interviews with him and agree he came across very well in them. Out there he is just one of the lads.He just wants to get on with the job he is there to do I think it was commendable of the press not to report his being there. It was the foreign press that let the cat out of the bag.
It will be a shame if he now has to come home for security reasons. He is very concerned about compromising the safety of his fellow soldiers. If he was a coward and fearful of his own well being then he needn't have gone. I hope he will be left alone to get on with it. As for the taliban redoubling their efforts, then lets hope they get careless and we can then shoot all the b******ds.
What a great, normal, lovely bloke too. His mum would have been proud. How on earth he has turned out so normal I do not know.
good on him
The story was released by a womans magazine here in Australia in conjunction with a German tabloid newspaper. When questioned by the press, the editor stated that he had no idea that there was a blackout on any disclosure of where Prince Harry was or what he was doing in Afghanistan. Yeh sure.
So that'd be the German contingent in the "war on terror" then?
shame about the hair though!
Actually he's not really in the front line. Yes, he's been in Afghanistan but he's there as the equivalent of an air traffic controller, hardly 'front line'. There were some posed shots of him firing a machine gun and 'on patrol'. But do you really think they'd put him in the firing line and then have to explain it away if he got shot or killed?
Did it warrant an hour blanket coverage , on news at ten ?

17:25 If this is true, then the whole world probably knows by now, and Harry has just become the prime target for every Muslim insurgent, and terrorist in the Middle East, not only that so has his regiment.

Yeah -like the taliban don't shoot our soldiers only royals ??

Good luck to him and all those other brave lads and lasses out there.

A special medal should now be struck and called "the Prince Harry Medal" perhaps, and presented to all those that have served out in Afghanistan.

Regarding if he should come home, I think he wil be safer out there with his comrades around him. If he comes home who will be there to protect him from the enemy within?
Well I enjoyed the coverage of him on the news. It was more interesting than the usual political tripe we get served up. He came across as a thoroughly likeable bloke. I think that did more for his public reputation than any other thing I have seen him involved in. I am not a fan of the royals either, but I like him. I think it is a shame that he has had to come home, when he was obviously enjoying the job he hasbeen trained to do. A curse on whoever blew his cover!
at last we have A Royal to resepect and look up to, and we all know that hos bro would have done the same, this his where his Mum's genes shine thru, noone best doss the guy around me cos he did his job and it wasn't just shaking hands
