If this is true, then the whole world probably knows by now, and Harry has just become the prime target for every Muslim insurgent, and terrorist in the Middle East, not only that so has his regiment.

Let's put it this way it is true according to the M.O.D.
Any reason why they are announcing this now? does it mean he's back then as I wouldn't like to be in his regimant now!
nothing but 100% respect for the bloke.....he could be sitting pretty in a palace somewhere but instead decides to serve queen and country in one of the most dangerous regions in the world.i salute you sir..
I heard ten weeks. There was a press embargo here but the story was broken by foreign media --- typical. The lad's doing what he wants to and good luck to him and all his fellow soldiers,
Just watching the ITV 6.30 news. Blanket coverage (presented from Afghanistan) for the past 20 minutes. I admire him for wanting to do the job he is trained for, but really, is all this coverage really necessary? The other lads don't seem to matter now.
Prince Andrew fought in the Falklands war. He is just doing what he is trained to do I guess.
American gutter press - I hope and pray that Harry and the lads he's with are not made targets due to this coverage - American press are like their films - all 'gung-ho' attitude - shoot first and don't answer questions later.
Good on him. And the standing together of the media with the MoD (not a throttling) is also heartening.

Channel 4 News had some heat of battle footage of Harry in action with a machine-gun. In his interviews he comes across as a very personable guy.

If ever the monarchy is abolished, that is it, we'd never get it back. I hope he picked off a few terrorists before they land here.
Anyone watching Jon Snow on Channel 4 News? He is fuming that the media has been press-ganged, in his opinion, into "covering up" this story and sees it as a very bad day for freedom of the press. He is talking about the press doing this in return, potentiallty, for honours! Have to say, I'm quote surprised that he has been quite so vociferous.

As I just said to cugetit, Kings and princes have been going into battle for centuries. why the big deal over Harry? I admire all our troops!
Doubt he'll be front line cannon fodder.
Fair play to the man and good luck to him and all our forces out there.
The fact that he is out there has been posted on the Web on various sites in the (abolutely)US and Germany for quite a while. The fact that the British press covered it up makes me wonder what else they would be prepared to cover up for this scumbag Government we have.
At least they don't have to cover up the fact that none of our politicians have their sons or daughters out there.

I wondered why he hasn't recently been photographed coming out of a night club p?ssed as a newt even if his brother was a few days ago. I suppose now it will be a quick return to the UK to continue the usual pattern.
sp1214 what the hell are you on about....have you ever been to iraq, afghanistan, northern ireland when they had their troubles?have you ever seen the atrocities of war?i bet the answer is NO.the lads who do manage to come back deserve to go out on the p**s every now and again just like any other citizen of this country.the reason why he hasnt been photographed recently is because he and thousands of others have been protecting our national security.either know what you are talking about or dont comment on issues you are so obviously out of your depth about..
Ha ha ha...good for him.

God - I literally cannot wait to see how the British press will deal with this.
it was the u.s press that spilt the beans.......the british press for once acted with honour.
