I don't think there's a person on this planet who wouldn't want all the world's troubles solved by tea and biscuits.
However, most of us are adult enough to know things are sadly not so easy.
Therefore I'm stunned at the patronosing stupidity of this Hodge woman. It isn't the first time she's talked utter guff and I resent public money paying her large salary. I'd like to take it away from her and suggest she accept some tea and biccies as a fair substitute.

surely you are missing the point. She is talking about a friendly, non threatening meeting place for people of different cultures/creeds etc. If leaders of the community can filter back some sort of goodwill from this how can that be a bad thing?
