by the way I am pleased she has been found safe and well and hope she has a great future.....

mmmm I am a Christian by being Christened and being brought up in a Christian Church Going home, my Mum and Dad stuggled all our childhood but they never smoked, drank, neglected us, and they worked hard for a very very small wage, no benefits then to support them except child benefit for the eldest child, which i think was 5s a week. They were self disciplined, house proud and did everything they could to see all 4 of us educated and brought up to respect ourselves and others. The Matthews clan are missing out on that IMO and they need guidance and education in family values and house management.

I along with many on this site have commented on the life style and dress sense of Sharron Mathew's mother and her friends.
But when one see the so called celebrities actions and dress sense are they any better? I think most of lower classes would not dress and behave as they do.

I could understand people commenting on the mother's looks and / or dress sense if she were a model or working in the fashion industry.
As she isn't - it's needless and spiteful. We still don't know what has happened over the past three weeks, the mother hasn't been arrested nor has her boyfriend.
Who knows if they will be?

brionon, I don't know why you ask but I am a christian but am not religious in any sense of the word but my upbringing was exactly like dots. I've been brought up to work for what you get in life, that's why I didn't have more than 2 children cos I couldn't afford any more. People like Karen Matthews seem to think it's their right to let us tax payers pay for everything they get.
ive noticed a few people on this thread have mentioned a huge telly that they had, well ive just been watching it and i seen a tv but by no means was it huge. The stepdad was working as well, and who said we were paying for the computer, i must have missed all those bits, but cant remember seeing them even tho i rewound the tape to look for them
Perhaps child benefit should be paid for the first 2 children only. Announce that it will start as of March 1st 2009 which gives people a few weeks to practice keeping their legs together!. That way people will stop bringing children into the world - 7 children by 5 different fathers - and expecting the government to pay for the little cherubs. Would save us taxpayers a fortune and the money could be put to pay for schools, hospitals and trains
