pinus, can I just say, that I think its quite rude to answer someone with "google it". I myself ALWAYS try and google things first, and often cannot find the right information I'm looking for, or it leads me back here anyway! If everyone was supposed to just use google or other search engines, then what would be the point of AB in the first place?? I think sometimes we're a little unfair to people dont you think... The Belfast Newsletter was founded in 1737. It is in United Kingdom, not Great Britain. Great Britain is made up of England, Scotland and Wales. The U.K. is the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northen Ireland.

Nebraska? lol. It's just a slightly badly worded question. Britain is an island and Belfast isn't on it, Great Britain is all the islands and that includes Eire. The UK didn't exist in 1737. So the correct annwer to that question is, I think, none

I'll correct myself there before someone does it for me. All the islands round Britain are the British Isles. Great Britain is Britain plus the other islands but not Man, the Channel islands or Northern Ireland.
