A lady in Knowsley has put in a planning application to the local council for Cuffley in Herts to bulldoze the mansion of Tesco boss, Sir Terry Leahy since his company put in a planning application to bulldoze her house for one of his pesky supermarkets. I think Cuffley needs a multi-storey car park where Leahy's mansion is - any volunteers to drive the bulldozer?

Not me - I'm a big fan of Tesco, like the millions of other shoppers who have made the company so profitable.
I'll do it, I prefer Waitrose, plus Sainsbury's for their moussaka.
My bloke's qualified to drive one. He's also qualified to teach others to drive them, so if you'd like to form a nice, orderly queue ...
I'll do it but just because I fancy driving one. I've nothing against Mr Tescos per say.
lol good on the Lady in Knowsley, why should she lose her house to a supermarket. Think my leggies are too wee to drive it tho
they both have mansions. i think they should battle it out. even though i wouldn't mind bulldozing his house just for a laugh
How can a private company over-ride a person's ownership of their home?
Wouldn't give Tescos house room. But I will take up the Bulldozer job for one day just to give the company a taste of its own medicine.

It can't, Whickerman, and this is just another crass headline.
Unless subject to a Compulsory Purchase Order (which are initiated by Government departments) no individual or organisation can do this.
However any organisation can apply for Planning Permission on another's land. If they get it, there is no obligation to sell, and if she did, she would make a fortune out it. But that doesn't make such an eye-catching headline.
