Personally no I wouldn't but I am loathe to say they should be banned as we are supposed to live in a free country.

One of the fundemental problems with our western society is that children are exploited as revenue streams. They're advertised and marketed to as soon as they can understand language, and then we wonder why they go off the rails. They've been taught to believe that they're adults by the time they hit their teenage years, and it's painfully not true.
Now, this bra is not the root of all social ills, but it is a symptom of a society that sexualises its children at younger and younger ages.

I totally agree with Supernick. I bet these bras will be bought by plenty of mothers for their little girls who they dress up as carbon copies of themselves with their crop tops, mini skirts/hipster trousers and heeled shoes, etc.

This sort of thing should be banned, let's get back to the days when children looking like children.

I know I will upset some people when I say this but, some Mums are to blame for young Girls trying to look like adults. They try to dress them as very young versions of themselves.

One has only to notice this when on holiday, they will both come down to the evenings entertainment dressed to the nines, hair done, make-up, high heels, you name it they are almost identical. They then think it is very complimentary, when the foreign waiters etc. try to flirt.

I think you are right Lefty Lottie. And I am sure the many ,many paedophiles out there will lap it up too. I think young girls are seen as sexual objects far too soon as it is. I work in a male dominated design office. We have relocated recently, but our old office used to overlook a senior school sports field. Quite a lot of the males in the office were fascinated by the sight of girls, some of them only 11 years old, on the sports field. Some of the comments were unbelievable. A lot of them are family men too with children of their own. I used to tell them off and point out that they were only children, but they would just laugh.Any parent who allows their girls to wear these things should be locked up.

Children are hyper-sexualised now, and I really don't agree with it. When they are dressed up as young women, no wonder the issue is so confused. They mustn't know themselves that revealing clothes and high heels are provocative, and frankly, I think at such a young age it is up to parents to dress their children appropriately.
Thongs and frilly knicks in kids' sizes, with "Sexy" and "Hot" written all over them are just so inappropriate.
If I was a mum, I certainly wouldn't go out and buy little skirts, cropped tops, high heels and tight dresses for my child.

It would break my heart if my 10 year old baby girl came home and told me she wanted me to buy her one. She is just starting to get breast buds now and THAT is breaking my heart ................................ that you blink and they are not your babies any more.

I agree with the philosophy that parents who want to buy these for their children should be bought barbie dolls to dress up and not little human beings!

I'm not sure that you could say paedophilia was on the rise, less so that it is down to dressing kids up as adults. It's obviously a concern, but it's definitely not my main concern.

The big problem I have is that it is part of a much wider problem of kids being sold to, with sex in particular a big issue. Most people would not let their 8 year old daughter go to school with a Playboy pencil case. That's easy to stop, but it's much harder to educate them about the pop culture that they are immersed in where sex sells.

I have no idea what is going on. recently we had a thread about a Muslim women who dressed up her little girl with Islamic Hijab and we have people almost going mad about it and now it is other way around.

But in reality I would say that these bras are to manipulate those families who want their children especially girls to be models (perhaps page 3) as quickly as possible. So parents can enjoy their life of luxury with the easy money coming in.

No wonder our education level is right at the bottom but you advertise an even about X factor or something to do with modelling and see millions turning up there. We all know what is happening.
