I have to start by saying well done to Zenit St Petersburg for their well deserved win last night. I had a lot of family and friends at Manchester last night. Some in the stadium and some not. Rangers did very well to get to the final and I can completely understand all the supporters wanting to be there. It has been a good season for Rangers this year, and well deserved. The atmosphere on the run up to the match was fabulous. The screen going off was a "technical glitch". These things happen. The people that I knew who were there said it was all blown out of all proportion. I am saddened by the minority who caused the problems. They should be ashamed of their behaviour and, in my eyes, bringing disrespect to their team. In general, Scottish fans, The Tartan Army, have a very good name for themselves around the world. Thats more than can be said for the English fans. I'll be very interested to see the behaviour at the Champions League final. Man U and Chelsea is never going to be a good mix. By the tone of your post, I assume you are a southerner? I'm sure you have gathered by now that I am Scottish. I now live in the northwest of England. I have never had any problems with the people here. In fact I have found them to to be friendly and accepting of me and my family. I have made some very good friends here. My Husband has lived in the south for a while before he moved here and says that the southereners are the most ignorant and self opinionated people he has ever met. Like everything else, you find good and bad everywhere. I'm sure there are some very nice southerners, but unfortunately you don't seem to be one of them!
