Hmmm, as someone above states, he is no different to any other african leader.
Although, i htink this guy has a special hatred for England.
I bet the US are loving it, as its usually them who every easterner hates...

I think Mugabe is a product of his environment.

Africa is a continent where democracies are a minority - most leaders seize, and maintain power by force.

Mugabe has spent his life getting, and keeping the power he has, unchecked by anyone who can actually do anything.

When you have that level of mental tenacity, the hand-wringing of the rest of the world must sound like white noise (pun intended!) on a radio in the next room.

Britain registers its disapproval of him by withdrawing his knighthood! Wow, I bet he cried himself to sleep that night!

Mugabe will die as he has lived, in power, no matter what anyone thinks or says.

It's not complicated is it?

I like the way he's cultivated a hitler moustache, as a clue to anyone who was in any doubt about his personality. It shows he has a sense of humour.

He probably does ludwig, but my flesh crawls when i think about what he might be laughing at - apart from the Western politicians that is of course, but then, we all do that.
