They have
And like Barry George, he is a complete fantasist.

"Mr Jenkins, 48, never excelled in class. He was a D-stream pupil. He was later to claim to have 10 A-grade O-Levels but in reality achieved only four poorly-graded ones. After leaving school, Mr Jenkins announced he wanted to become a journalist, but instead went to work on a part-time basis for confectionery giant Mars, based in Slough. He was not taken on full-time because of his "uncooperative" attitude."

Mr Jenkins lied to obtain his teaching post. The Education Authority which employed him later issue a statement saying:
"He did not attend the University of Kent and has not obtained a BA (hons) degree, a Post Graduate Certificate in Education, an Advanced Diploma from the Open University or an Msc in Education Management from Kings College London.

"He did not attend Gordonstoun School. This is the information contained in his application for deputy headmaster."

If it was left to some posters on this site, (who I suspect have never listened to the full evidence of the cases, given out in court ), it would be "Off with their heads".

All reminiscent of the Revolutionary Tribunal during the French Revolution.
Crikey - lying on your CV means you are a murderer. In that case I'm dfefinitely not going change my C in O Level Maths to an A.
Dr. Booldawg MSc MA, totally agrees with flip-flop.

And there's me thinking that they were succesful in their appeal , based on facts of the cases before the jury / judge .

I do pray that I'm not accused of an offence , and have some people on the jury , with a Judge John Deed mentality

There is one case however , where I thought that the accused was guilty as a fox caught , with feathers sticking out of it's mouth . That was the O J Simpson case .
I say - 3 as well , given that any , are as rare nowadays , as the phone ringing , and the caller not being someone trying to flog you something :-)

O.J. Simpson guilty as sin! that look on his face when they said "not guilty" says it all!
