150 if you claim Child Benefit!
It has been reported today that if you claim Child Benefit, you are to receive a payment of 150 (courtesy the taxpayer) to help with energy bills. So if you have children, it doesn't matter how much you earn, apparently you will get this money! When are the middle earners with no children going to get a break? My husband is on a good wage and we manage OK, but I am disabled and, apart from DLA, don't get any other help. Is this a payment fair?
