Pensions thief?
Look up Tiny Rowland (Hanson Trust) and James Goldsmith also look at the pensions holidays enjoyed by the Royal Mail and the payments just been released by the government because of Tory fiddles in the "BEST" scheme.
Don't get all nostaliagic "Anyone but Mellor" sleaze?
Westland, Cecil Parkinson, David Mellor, B.C.C.I, De Lorean the list is endless.
And there were always talks going on with the I.R.A, Blair did give Ulster what it wanted and needed PEACE.
No help for the poor what about the minimum wage?
But yes Thatcher did have a mandate to govern and she was deselected by her party and we did'nt have a general election, the more things change the more they stay the same.
I hope Stoke stay up, it's gonna go on and on this one Stokie.

If you actually look you'll see that the bosses can still afford to give themselves good pensions, if you look at the "pensions black hole" you'll also see that the money paid out in bonuses is more or less the same as the deficit, is that where the money's gone?
If you want a real scandal then see how much money the government had to pay out as compensation to all the people it advised to leave their L.G.S.S final salary pensions and go for private money purchase schemes.
Thatcher's government and it's legacy were awful.
