with my question on the downwards slope of this site. i think this year this site has fallen. it has become a bit boring imo. not as many people post, not as many of the usual faces anymore. what happened?

I dont think the sites on a downwards slope at all. It's like any other forum, people come, become regulars, hang around for a few months then move on. The site aint going to fall apart just because a bunch of folk have left it.

Soon a new set of regulars will be along and it all starts again.

Then you get some folk like me- who just hang around like bad smells for years and years ;-)

From experiecne, the site does ebb and flow in terms of traffic and intereste generally, so stick with it, and the better times will roll around again - they always do.

Or maybe I'm just able to surf over the nonsense and concentrate on the questions and debates that I enjoy.

Ab is a q and a site .Though over the years its been used more like a networking site.Now that fb , my space etc etc have taken off they really are leaving ab behind on that front.nearly every question has been asked .And folk do get fed up with folk using alias names to windup and post total peee taking threads.Also the amount of stuff allegedly posted here genuinely then discovered to be guys pretending to be women and viceversa.Add to the new forums created in the last 4 or 5 years and its a natural progression .
