Hunt the hunters

I have decided that pro hunt protesters are vermin, they are ruining my pavements and are taking up vital space on this planet that could be used for storage or a starbucks. I wish to start hunting them. Once i have caught them, I want to be able to let my hounds tear them to schreds and then I'll dawb myself with their blood. Could anyone please tell inform me of the legal ramifications of this premise?

I suspect that if you catch and kill the protesters yourself you'll be guilty of murder, and if you let the hounds do it you'll be done for something relating to owning dangerous dogs, although maybe someone with better knowledge of the law can elaborate on that. You might also be guilty of a breach of the peace and disturbing public order and so on. Having said that, I think it's a great idea.

But what about if I call it a sport and cite tradition or post offices or something?

You could always use the same intelligence-insulting claptrap they use - it's kinder than shooting or trapping them, we rarely catch a huntsman anyway, it's necessary to control their numbers, they're vermin who keep stealing my chickens - that kind of thing.

With a bit of luck they will take their shotguns and shoot you. (in self defense of course). Then we wouldn't have silly questions and even sillier (mine included) answers
