I'm Shocked!
16 Answers
Was in a town earlier stood near a woman with a small child.
The woman was effing and blinding and called the child a c**t and s**thead which was bad enough.
She then said she could see why the woman killed her kids (the two little ones found in Manchester earlier this week) and it was the childrens' fault their mother killed them.
What the hell will that poor little lad grow up thinking!!!

Hi jen,
you just give up! Ignorance! People bringing kids up who just have'nt got a clue. Their children just don't stand a chance do they! A long time ago I reported a mother for doing exactly the same. The child was actually visibly frightened of her. I can't explain, just intuitively, you knew if this is how she was in public, she could be a lot more cruel behind doors. I described the look of her & told them the school the child went to (small local privately run )& guess what! They new of her!

But just what could you say that would make a positive difference. You would actually be in danger of making the situation worse for the child - people like that mother can never accept that they are wrong and would turn on the child when made to feel guilty and accuse him of being at the root of all the misery in the world.
In this case I think it would be better to turn away and say nothing.

I have one living next door to me, well actually through the wall from my l/room in the next house, she is a pleasure to live next to I dont think, she's 21 and her wee son is just over 1yr, its heartbreaking listening to it all morning, noon and night and its worse when she has the young ones in drinking, personally i would have to have said something to that idiot, i couldnt have listened and not
