Land Mines in the Falklands

I see from the news that the UK are in trouble for not clearing the land mines from the Falkland Islands within the alloted time frame. The government blame the terrain and the islands geographical distance from the UK .

I would like to nominate a certain hefty ex footballer now manager who's very good with his hands from the nation that laid the mines in the first place. I think it would be terrific sport to watch him clear them all by himself!

The Argies used plastic mines which can't be found with normal detectors - and they scattered them without keeping charts. Usually, the sheep are pretty good at finding , but in addition to The Hand of God I propose Jeremy Clarkson for an off-road drive across the islands.
