Has one noticed how the amount of answers have dropped off lately?

Could it be because of the recession some have had their computers repossessed?

This honestly isnt a dig but there is only so many articles you can have the 'you're a left you're a loser no no no it is you right wingers that are wrong'

before it gets slightly tiring?.........
I have to agree, The Sherman.
I drop in here to see what has been posted........which usually results in me rolling my eyes and then I execute a swift about-turn and go elsewhere........

This topic is getting a little 'Groundhog Day' in its content........
I won't comment on a news article that has a political slant applied............which happens in this section far too often. There is a Politics subheading that would be better suited to that.
Most of the questions require reading seome juvenile article from the Daly Mail, which is against my religion.

The Sherman

This after all is the news topic site, and politics are certain to be involved, which of course will have difference of opinions, hence 'Left Wing' or 'Right Wing'.

Monkeyeyes

If you want idle chat there are plenty of other topic headings for you to drop in, so why bother, at least it will save you rolling those monkeyeyes.

Monkeyeyes is right. Arguments do tend to repeat - repeatedly.
I think politics is fair game but maybe we could have a new sub-topic

"Muslims and Race"

Then perhaps we could clear out the News topic for sensible threads.

I am getting very tired of all the

"PC gone mad - daily mail says black people are killing Britain - Saria law comes to Britain" Bilge.

I don't mind people with right wing views if they're thought out and well argued but it's getting depressingly rare
Jake is right. Unless there is something to do with Muslims (Islam) or racism, people are just not interested. All other things need knowledge whereas for these two topics you are only supposed to know how to use keyboard.
The reason is that the new Ed (aided by an answerbanker who has site domination aspirations) has, without explanation been over zealous in banning users who post risque' questions and answers. Basically, people are afraid to open their mouths any more.
I may be banned for that answer.
If you lot are bored on here you can always go to chatterbank and tell people what you are having for lunch or what colour underwear you are wearing.
Spot on Sgt.Rock.

The fun has been obliterated, but the dross and drivel remain.

define the missing fun please
Insults, rude bits, cyber fingers up the bum, that sort of thing.
oh you mean fun for you at someone else's expense...

I think they were all pretty thick-skinned.
The news agenda for several months has been dominated by financial and economic matters.

Though very important, it is a boring subject. It is also very complex so the level of coverage in the Tabloids is abysmal. Other than blaming the political party they oppose, very few people can understand the subject.

And also, AOG, you have asked the same question everyday for the last four years. Maybe people are fed up of reading it, I know I am bored with giving the right answer.
you are one of those people that thrive on negativity gormless, have you tried some of the hardcore sites where there is no restriction?
Which ones cazzz? I got booted off Cerescape. Yes I do enjoy a good bundle with like-minded souls.
Supposing you havent had lunch and are not wearing any underwear. Seems pointless providing an answer for the sake of it.
