How cold it is today!!!

Loved the pretty snow this morning but it didn't last long so went to warm up with a friend for coffee then the two if us nutters went and sat for a glass of wine outside!

Did some more sales shopping although was a bit dubious about how much of a good idea of was after some vino then got some fresh goodies from the deli :)

Invoked some karma on the way home, a group of friends got off the tram then the doors shut leaving one of them stuck on as the tram moved off. I couldn't help but laugh (quietly) then got up and my carrier bag broke.

In the warm and staying here now. How's everyone's NYE gear up going?

Now I am betting that you only went for a glass of wine outside so you could have a cig?!!!! (At least that is what I would have done!).

Not going to be around tonight after all. Friend is cooking me dinner and telling me his tales of woe. So I shall be shedded by 8pm and incapable of sensible advice!

The cat just came in from outside and jumped on me and she had some very cold paws!
I'm just going to have something to eat while watching Grey's Anatomy before getting ready to go to the local pub. �40 for a ticket but it's all you can drink :-)

I went to Gabbotts earlier, I love that place. Usually get chicken but fancied a change so got some gorgeous fresh ham and cuts for the cat, some of the oven bottoms, fresh coleslaw and he did me a deal on their mini quiches which are gorgeous.

Sooo cold in town, we were trying to find somewhere to sit outside with those patio heaters but nowhere had them, not even Toms Chop House or the Wellington so ended up outside the Moon under Water on Deansgate lol :)

Hey eash :) HC isn't venturing outside at the moment and can't say I blame him!

He has some fresh chicken in his bowl but is still after my ham sandwich!!!

I have some Greys Anatomy on Sky plus, building up some good telly for tomorrow :)

Bought chicken for the table tomorrow Jenna, roast for six! I'm not slaving for hours, want to enjoy myself! Always have a glass or two while cooking! lol!

I know haha, it looked like the warmest place to sit outside for a cig as it was a bit sheltered but they made us have plastic glasses, how classy were we!

I can't believe how big it is inside!! a friend had a birthday meal in there (!) but I felt so ill afterwards.

Don't blame you about the chicken and they do lovely chicken. I often get some for my tea on the way home from work, just that and a buttered oven bottom, perfect :)

Freezing here in South Bedfordshire too, but nice when wrapped up warm & out for a stroll looking at all the Christmas dec's.

I love Christmas, along with all the trees & dec's, so can't resist it! Our granddaughters have enjoyed the walks with me too & the rides out in the car! ;o}

Do you think there are fewer houses with external decorations this year? I don't think there are as many as usual round here although there are some really pretty ones
