If you'd like to read this link, just one of many that show the BBCs bias, although if you don't I won't blame you, as there seems to be a conspiracy on here not to read the links I put up, because they side with israel, and so they are 'Propogander',
No! But I agree with the BBC for not putting out an appeal to rebuild Gaza. The EU has given them millions to rebuild only for the Israelis to knock most of it down. Whats the point? It will only happen again once a few rockets are let off.
The Israelis themselves should cough up and divert some of the funds that come from the USA to arm their forces.
are you lot mad, the bbc is one of the most left leaning, pro-palistinion (sp) news organisations going. If you can't see that you obviously have never watched it. Its because of the stick thay have got for being bias that the will not run this appeal!
The beeb is biased towards the Palestians. There seems to be no analysis, only the comments from people off the streets who have no direct knowledge except the party line.
For example, the tunnels from Egypt. Dont tell me they have not been used to smuggle arms in to Gaza. For heavens sake where do all these arms come from, this is only one of the routes in
Dont forget it is Hamas' s avowed goal to destroy Israel and Jews
and the tunnels also bring in food and other items.don't forget the israelis built a big wall round them and only let limited supplies in .
people starving with no fresh water and food. did you not see the baby crushed by tank ? the small body partly eaten by starving dogs.
i am sorry i forgot the bbc did not show it
Of course it is abysmal, but it does no one any favours to over simplify the situation, apportion blame to just one side, or not to give unbiased analytical reporting
There are always two sides, but I think a lot of people are anti Israel for reasons that a a people who have suffered like the Jews, now seem to have no conscience about doing the same to other people.
It's very simplistic and there is much more to the whole thing and I am not informed enough to comment. But, that is how I feel. I am not surprised at Hamas' goal. I am not saying I approve, it is inevitable.
It's just people tend to ignore items that support their prejudices as "common sense" and get all outraged at the ones that challenge them.
I think the real question is whether the BBC is running scared of Pro-Israeli pressure groups. Are they scared that in the current BBC-Bashing era they might get embroilled in a big political row that will compromise their ability to report other conflicts?
They broadcast appealsfor Darfur which was a similar political conflict it seems the only difference here is the strength of Israeli support in the UK .
Of course it's back-fired on them because the on-going controversy is giving the appeal more airtime and visibility than they could possibly have dreamed of.
You can of course donate to the United Nations' UNICEF helping Children in Gaza here
