Has anyone heard how Sara Roache died yet? I find it very scary when someone dies like this, so suddenly, and without even being ill.

Seem to think it was a heart attack, but it seems strange that there has been little reporting over this.

I thought myself there seems to be very little said about this, perhaps there has to be a postmortem and these can take time.

I read it was a heart attack as well on Yahoo news. Sara looked really fit and had never had any serious illness's. Puts things into perpective eh!!

I'm probably being a bit thick here, and not joking at all - but who is Sara Roache? Is it Bill Roache's real-life wife (Ken Barlow?)

Wife of a moderately well-known actor dies? I imagine it's mostly being regarded as a private tragedy, not a public affair. Heart attacks can happen to anyone unfortunately.

jno....good point, but in the UK now it is popular and "clever" to air private grief in public. The more people in the church, the more popular you are.

She's an actor in her own right and has appeared in Coronation St.

Thank you all for your answers.As you pointed out jno, heart attacks can happen to anybody but because Sara herself was an actress and married to a 'celebrity' this is why it's been in the news.

It's worth pointing out perhaps that February is National Heart Month, probably thanks to St Valentine
